#1 FOOD DAYS
I usually like eating the same things over and over again, with a little few twists. When it’s vacation time however, I like to spice it up a bit and try some new things.
Do not forget I am still eating keto. I usually like real food, so if it has sugar or too many ingredients, it can stay on the shelf, I’m not getting it.
Here is some food porn for who wants some ideas, altough I wouldn’t recommend this much food if you don’t have a big family or you’re not trying to gain weight.
Pictures from the 2nd row are from an all-you-can-eat buffet, that’s why the plates are overloaded.
#2 THE BIG NEWS
As I’ve said in my 1st blog post in this 2 part Spain trip, unfortunately I wasn’t able to have the vacation I wanted because my schedule was changed due to college having the enrolling Master’s interview in the exact same period when I should have been in Spain. The schedule for me and my GF looked like this.
ME: 12 – 21 September
GF: 19 – 24 September
Doesn’t look to good, does it?
Then something happened while I was already arrived in Spain. I got a message on Facebook from one my college professors. I supposed it was just a reminder that the interview will take place on the 21st of September.
It was changed to 25th of September !
This couldn’t have come at a better time. We all know that vacations are not your every day delight, so having your once a year time off be exactly as you wished, is just … look at the Jamie Oliver gif above.
So my final calendar for me an my GF is the one below.
#3 VALENCIA TRIP
There is no need for stories, the pictures are worth a 1000 words.
First of all, the first picture is from when we arrived in Valencia. That is the place where you see a toreador in action. I am not a big fan of this spanish “performance art” as it is considered, but the building is well built.
After that we went to the place you could call Sea Land. Creatures leaving in the water are feeling like home here.
Enjoy the photos.

THE DOLPHIN SHOW
We had the opportunity of getting to see the dolphin show, which is usually scheduled 2-3 times a day at a few hours distance one from each other. You are given a map when entering where you can see all these information.
Because it was so nice, I uploaded a video so anyone interested can see.
There’s definitely a lot of work put into these performances and the atmosphere is incredibly enjoyable.
Last place we visited was the BioParc Zoo from Valencia, you just can’t miss going to the Zoo during a travel.
Not a lot of photos. Do you want to know why? I went to a specific place.
An all-you-can-eat buffet.
The rest is history. If there is meat around me, well … there isn’t anymore.
#4 BEACH DAY
Between Valencia and Barcelona there was a free day. We wanted to be able to relax.
What better way than to go to the beach.
Spain has a lot of beautiful places if you want to feel the waves, the sand and just sit, relax and enjoy the sun.
Here are some pictures from the place we visited, if you want to know the name contact me or leave me a comment here, since I don’t remember the name of it right now.
#5 BARCELONA TRIP
Castellon – Barcelona is a 4 hour train trip.
We woke up pretty early so we could get by 9 or 10 AM in Barcelona.
We already bought the tickets for a bus tour, which is really a MUST if you visit Barcelona. It shows you so many things in such a short time. Worth every penny.
Now most of the photos are from Sagrada Familia where we stopped and from the bus. We weren’t able to stop at too many places to enjoy the view, because of time restraints. At 9 PM we had the train back home.
LA BOQUERIA (BARCELONA MARKET)
I eat only once a day usually, at least solid food.
After the bus tour, we had to go somewhere.
We were on La Rambla street. I wanted an all-you-can-eat place. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the best place to find one.
Altough I had no idea what was around, lady luck struck and I was able to find one, don’t know if anyone else liked the food, I for one definitely didn’t like the service, but they can’t stop me from eating anyway. There were definitely enough choices of food, and if I’m not mistaken, the place was called Itapas.
Now we had to go to WonderLand. You might think where is that? Well, just a few meters away.
La Boqueria, also knows as the Barcelona Market.
IIt’s famous for a reason, just look at the pictures below and you will understand why. We loved it. We also bought a lot of food for eating the next day.
I will warn you!
Look at the pictures below at your own risk.
#6 SEE YOU LATER SPAIN
I Now that was pretty much everything.
The next day, after Barcelona, on the 23rd of September, we just had a family dinner at night. During the day a little bit of walking around Castellon and enjoying the last day of the vacation.
Dinner was definitely another all-you-can-eat buffet for me.
We bought a lot of fruits from the Barcelona Market, but since I’m eating keto, that’s not part of what I like.
But guess what? Something appeared in front of my eyes and I took it.
It was delicious. The next day I was probably around 3-4kg heavier, but all worth it.
Hope you enjoyed this blog post and I’ll leave you just one more memory.
It wasn’t pleasant at all, my life was in danger, or better said, my finger’s life.
